col·lab·o·ra·to·ry = an experimental environment where creatives work and communicate with each other to design and create innovative wearable art.

The Concept
co + lab (squared) apparel's approach to each apparel design experiment encourages creativity and originality, without sacrificing style. Each experiment is a collaborative effort with fresh young artists from around the world. In a world of mass production, nothing here is mass produced, so pieces remain unique and designs are always fresh. To demonstrate the care and attention that goes into each product, garments are individually screen printed by hand in small batches. At co + lab (squared) apparel, our entire creation process embraces art and artistry in its purest form to produce wearable art.
The Design
The creative vision is conceived in the mind of the artist and brought to life in the Collaboratory. Each design in print not only showcases the artist’s skills and ingenuity, it also allows individuals to express their own individuality and personality. Although co + lab (squared) apparel is not fashion dependent, we’re still concerned about style which is reflected in the designs. New designs are not released seasonally; we print what we like when we see it. So you’ll never know when a new design will appear on the site.
The Screen Printing
All garments are individually hand perfected in small batches to give each product its custom touch and attention - no two finished garments will look alike. Producing pieces in limited quantities allows the product to remain special and unique, even a collectible. This also allows us to change designs more frequently and everyone likes what no one else has.
